St. Francis Woods: Family-owned Supportive Living Apartments in Peoria, Illinois
Affordable living for seniors in a caring environment
What Is Supportive Living?
Supportive Living and assisted living offer similar services. However, assisted living communities tend to be more costly, and unlike Supportive Living, they do not accept payment from Medicaid.
Supportive Living is designed to offer Illinois residents who qualify, the opportunity to pay through a combination of their own income and Medicaid benefits, when they cannot afford to pay privately. This program gives lower-income seniors the opportunity to live independently and affordably, in an environment where personal choice, dignity and individuality are emphasized, and assistance is readily available when needed.
Situated in a scenic woodland location
Situated in a scenic woodland location close to many shopping and dining options, St. Francis Woods combines the independence of your own apartment with the support of on-site staff who can assist with care when needed. Our comfortable, homelike atmosphere will make us the first choice for your senior living needs. We are open to those 65 years of age and older.

What Our Residents and Their Families Say
Posted on Ernie Brust SrMay 15, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If I could give them anything I would proudly give them 10 stars. I came here needing nursing and medical care around the clock as my respiratory and heart is giving out due to Cova19 but everyone is doing their best to keep me alive and attentive, as well as alive.. OSF ST. FRANCIS WOODS and their staff are tops in my book. Anyone that gives them anything but 5 stars and no less than 4 stars clearly hasn't been to St Francis Woods.. I have met only one GRUMPY GUS since I have been here, everyone else has been super super nice.. I chose the right place,.....Posted on Jessica PollittAugust 1, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely loved working their very friendlyPosted on Christine GlickNovember 25, 2019Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was my first visit. Was very surprised to see ppl actually doing things together and not just stuffed in a corner. Was very clean and ppl and staff were very friendlyPosted on Dawn RApril 2, 2019Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mom moved in here about 6 months ago. It's not the Ritz but the people genuinely care about the residents for the most part. Her apartment is great and maintenance takes care of problems quickly. She complains about the food. I've had some a few times...it's not homemade...but not awful either. I feel much better knowing she's there!
